Featured in Net-A-Porter's "The Shoe Guide"

Yummy Focaccia party, that's what I would call my Net-A-Porter "Shoe Guide" shoot. I was blown away that their team was flying to Milan for an afternoon just to shoot my shoe closet, and I wanted to prepare a nice snack for them. However, I had to shoot a project for work the morning of the shoot and had no time to arrange anything. So on my way home from work, I picked up some freshly baked focaccia from Princi. To my relief they really enjoyed it and took some with them for the trip home. It was so much fun having the team over my house to play with one of my favorite things in the world: SHOES! A special thanks to Claudia Plant, Net-A-Porter's Editorial Director; Stephanie Forrester, Natalie Rigg, Asha Joneja, Amy Turkington, Jessica Mahaffey and Greg Holland!

Milan Fashion Week FW12/13 Day 2

I love the mix of greens in Eleonora's lady-like look. The pop of yellow from her handbag and her gorgeous Lucite heel pumps are super special touches!

Elisa's brown and blue combo is super chic. Her sparkly sleeves, panther clutch and crystal floral applique pumps are fiercely brilliant details.

I've been dying to see Prada SS12 off the runway and on the streets. I knew that I could count on Anna. This is stunning!

Camilla's adorable look of turban, mint-green coat with fox detailing, over-size clutch, and booties sent me running down the street to capture this picture. So cute!

How do I love Emily's look? Let me count the reasons: (1) a denim jacket, (2) a fur collar, (3) a patent leather skirt, (4) trouser socks and (5) colorful sandals especially (6) in the winter.

Leaf is the queen of mixing graphic prints and motifs. Her combo here is meow-tastic.

Silvia, one of Grazia.it's very own "IT Girls", effortlessly pulls of a mix cowboy hat and denim shirt, a moto jacket, preppy check pants and white pumps. Damn, she's good!

The Things I Saw Today

Here are somethings that I saw while out on an Saturday afternoon walk with the fam. (Thank god, they were super patient this afternoon).

I've had my eyes on these Miu Miu wedges for a while. I love the silhouette and the cipria color.

I popped into Celine to pick-up a trio for my best friend and discovered these new colors. I'm dying for them all! The trio has truly become my favorite bag. I rarely leave home without my wine color one.

I've never tried on the Cartier Love Bracelet so thought it would be a perfect moment to do so given my husband and son's unusual patience. I fell in love when I put it on.

I am an absolute sucker for impulse merchandise. I spotted this Ogami Collections Taccuino notebook at the cash register of the art store where we were picking up materials for our DIY holiday decorations. The line made from Repap includes four different quotes including the one shown here. I think this would be the perfect Holiday present for that loved one with an ironic sense of humor.
