Lisa Marie Fernandez seventies style silhouette has got me so inspired. She looks gorgeous in a Duro Olowu coat and a Coach Classics shoulder bag.

Love Laurel's combination here. Super-fun way to fight of the super cold weather we're experiencing in New York.

How beautiful is Stephanie's Roksanda Ilincic blouse? It's so gorgeous! I love that she styled it with these super sweet, leather short shorts. The silhouettes work so well together and her boots give the whole look a great touch of edge. Plus, it's a great take on classic black and white.

Giulia, cosy winter knits
Some more inspiration for NYFW. Just had a look at the 10-day forecast. The temperature will be around 40°F starting next Wednesday. Julia's layers of cozy neutral-toned knits are just what I'll need to stay warm and look chic at the same time. Have a great weekend! xoxox

I'm at home sick with the flu that my adorable germ-wielding son passed on to me, and now his babysitter. I'm praying that my husband comes out of this unscathed by the flu germies. If not, my house will fall apart. This being the situation, I've had a lot of time to stare into my closet, from my bed, and dream up cool mix-n-match looks for New York Fashion week. Totally appropriate exercise considering my head has been spinning since Monday and everything I see and hear is a bit mixed up anyway. Here's an image that I snapped during Couture that I have been taking inspiration from. I adore this sweet mix of tie-dye combined with this colorful print skirt. It's excellent!

Laure's combination of a rich rusty brown trousers, sienna boots, cream jacket/fur vest and pewter Chanel handbag is so chic! I can't wait to visit the Webster this Spring to see what she's selected for the fashionable Miami set. I'm sure that the selection will be as gorgeous as this look.
P.S. You read correctly, I'll be headed to Miami for a few days this Spring. Can't wait!

Patti, Less is more
Sometimes less is definitely more. Patti looks incredible in a simple total-black look and ivory crochet sack. Love that she's paired these cropped trousers with a pair of wedges. Super-cute detail!

It was awesome seeing a sporty Inès de La Fressange at the couture shows with her camera. I spotted her at Elie Saab show shooting front row. I wonder who she's shooting for. A personal project? Either way, she's got her photographer's look down pat. I've been working on mine since 2005. Style icons... so inspiring.
UPDATE! Thanks to the lovely Claire and Caroline, I can now tell you that Inès is on assignment for Madame Figaro. So cool! I can't!
