NYFW12 Outfits #3

Ok, please be patient with me. I initially planned to publish daily outfit posts during fashion month, but I had a truckload of projects to follow at Grazia.it and stopped posting outfits on day two of NYFW. Also, and as always, I was so inspired by what my fellow editors and bloggers wore, all I want to do is post pics of them. But, I'm finally settling back into my normal routine, have a bit more free time, and plan to publish my outfits as often as possible. Hanneli, NYFW FW12, Feb.10, 2012

It was so amazing meeting up with Hanneli yesterday. I missed her when she was in Italy for the Alberta Ferretti Special Edition Pre-Fall collection. She was her usual gorgeous self in a Rag&Bone shearling Jacket, Acne suede moto jacket, Diesel cropped jeans, Alexander Wang handbag, Tabitha Simmons booties, and super sweet Miu Miu earrings.

Outfit Inspiration, Isabel Marant FW11/12

 

I really liked Isabel Marant's FW11/12 collection. And  heck yeah, I'm still bummed out that I couldn't get my hands on a pair of the fringe boots- to hell with personal budgetary constraints. But hey, all the more reason to be inspired to put together an outfit. Here's my take on the over all mood of the collection, lots of Navajo-inspired fringe, cool denim and a bit of cowboy. I'm wearing a suede fringe blazer from Cut, Milano, Rag & Bone Jeans, Prada thigh-high boots, a bag from Bonpoint, hat from Zara and a scarf by Max Mara. I had a lot of fun playing with this look. Jenny Kang, Mixing the Lines

Totally inspired by the way Jenny mixes the contrasting lines of her Madewell top and Rag & Bone skirt. The combo is a brilliant take on classic black and white because the lines make the look pop. Also, love that she accents the black, white, gray and blue tones with gorgeous silver Alexander Wang loafers, but at the same time throws everything off with an amazing pale peach Mulberry bag.
