NYFW12 Outfits #3

Ok, please be patient with me. I initially planned to publish daily outfit posts during fashion month, but I had a truckload of projects to follow at Grazia.it and stopped posting outfits on day two of NYFW. Also, and as always, I was so inspired by what my fellow editors and bloggers wore, all I want to do is post pics of them. But, I'm finally settling back into my normal routine, have a bit more free time, and plan to publish my outfits as often as possible. Varsity Jacket, Boyfriend Jeans and Tough Lace-ups, I'm So ready for fashion week

I love to wear sporty/casual looks on the first day of fashion week. It's my way of easing into the hectic pace of the week. Yesterday I wore a Nike varsity jacket, Mih Halsy jeans, Alexander Wang Andrea boots, an Esemplare sweater and my bordeaux Celine "Trio" bag.

Outfit Inspiration, Isabel Marant FW11/12

 

I really liked Isabel Marant's FW11/12 collection. And  heck yeah, I'm still bummed out that I couldn't get my hands on a pair of the fringe boots- to hell with personal budgetary constraints. But hey, all the more reason to be inspired to put together an outfit. Here's my take on the over all mood of the collection, lots of Navajo-inspired fringe, cool denim and a bit of cowboy. I'm wearing a suede fringe blazer from Cut, Milano, Rag & Bone Jeans, Prada thigh-high boots, a bag from Bonpoint, hat from Zara and a scarf by Max Mara. I had a lot of fun playing with this look. Were there any looks that you recreated this season that you would like to share? Love to hear about it!
